Chameleon - Two Way Standmount Loudspeaker.

We are pleased, excited and proud to introduce our first standmount loudspeaker, the Chameleon, a hand crafted, high performance two way bass reflex design, manufactured using all natural timber.

The Chameleon is a two way standmount loudspeaker and manufactured as a joint venture between Wyndham Audio and TC Loudpseakers.

TC Loudspeakers produce all their loudspeakers in natural timber enclosures and they look and feel magnificent when finished with oil and beeswax. The Chameleon enclosure is double built and has a rigid, braced mdf inner enclosure with a specially developed constrained layer between that and the outer, all natural timber external enclosure. 

The sound you will experience from the Chameleon is absolutely stunning, a wonderful tonal balance with the brilliant 5.5" Scanspeak Revelator blending seamlessly with the Tang Band full range driver, that takes care of the high frequency duties.

The Scanspeak Revelator driver is one of our favourite drivers and we think arguably, one of the best mid woofers ever made. The bass impact is incredible for a 5.5" mid woofer and the Tang Band full range driver playing through the natural timber wave guide is extremely clean and beautifully detailed. When combined with the reinforced and braced solid natural timber enclosure, they exhibit a unique tone that is hard to replicate in a conventionally constructed loudspeaker enclosure. The solid natural timber seems to allow a reproduction that draws you into the music, with the loudspeakers simply vanishing.
