Hello folks,
I recently had the privilege of delivering a new pair of our CH1 loudspeakers to our customer, Judy, who lives in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Judy has been kind enough to take the time to write a review of her new CH1s, which she has sent to me along with some pictures she took of her new set up. I'd like to thank Judy for this wonderful review and I am pleased to be able to publish Judy's review here below, with her permission of course.
Review of Wyndham Audio CH1 Loudspeakers by Judy who lives in Melbourne
I had been on the lookout for a pair of compact floor standing loudspeakers, made here in Australia, for the past year or so for my apartment lounge room. A friend of mine suggested I check out the CH1 loudspeaker from Wyndham Audio. Knowing my budget and that I like listening to jazz, vocal, and acoustic music, my friend thought the CH1 would match well with my amplifier whilst being not too large for my lounge room.
After taking delivery of a pair of CH1s, I can honestly say that they are a wonderful match with valve amplification as they show off great detail in the midrange and, even for a single driver, present good images in the treble and a surprising amount of bass. The CH1s don’t need much power and play plenty loud enough in my smallish loungeroom. I’m using a Cayin CS-55A integrated amplifier 2 x 22 Watt @ 8 Ohm (triode). The clarity and warmth of the vocals and the stage presence of the musical instruments produced by these loudspeakers is just fantastic.
My CH1 loudspeakers are finished in satin black. The photos really do not do them justice, the craftsmanship and paintwork is superb. Keith from Wyndham Audio had kept me informed of the manufacturing timeline, transported them down to Melbourne himself and even helped set them up for me.
I am utterly thrilled with my first foray and experience with these bespoke CH1 loudspeakers from Wyndham Audio.
